This page replaces the written document SLS-TME-TA-1998-0001.

Major change concerns the unification with the PSI ABS (PSI Anlagenbezeichnung) and extension to the  infrastructure naming. As a consequence a prefix for the building had to be added, and 3 "kingdoms" for accelerators, experiments and infrastructures were defined. This prefixes all accelerator domains with an "A", but nothing changes for the experiments.
